1. Then there's no reason to sign him. It has to work for us too. 2. He'd still opt out and try to re-sign or add additional years or something. Unless he's stinking it up, in which case there'd be no difference. 3. What exactly is the higher stakes table (and I'm assuming by flip you don't mean trade, for obvious reasons). -

Even Chen could be worth a look. He's only owed the min, so you can move him into the pen or cut him without much pain.

Bundy for Teoscar maybe? I'd be fine with letting him eat up some innings next year at reasonable cost. Maybe our catchers can help him and we can flip him at the deadline. Plus, I really want to see Teoscar in another uniform.

The weather does not look fun in the Cowboys Patriots game. It looks like heavy rain / sleet with maybe some freezing rain mixed in. All sorts of balls being dropped and lost.

Do we have an option in Fantrax to prevent adding players with a green flag? Maybe just change the AA rule, in exchange for eliminating the mandatory promotion threshold and allowing demotions.

Is there actually a need to? I mean, owned players won't be floating in the general pool anymore. What purpose does the mandatory promotions actually serve? I can't really see it being abused much.

I think the bigger problem is periodically scanning the farms to check if people haven't promoted those that need to be. I guess we could eliminate the PA/IP limits. I'm not sure they actually serve a whole lot of purpose now that players aren't in the general pool.

Beverley is flopping around like a fish out of water. If he keeps it up, he's going to start getting no calls at all. 4 minutes into the game and I'm betting he has one fine on the way already.

Maybe. Maybe not. I kind of get a feeling that more teams than normal are either unwilling or unable to spend on the top guys. If that's the case, the market may not get held up to the same degree as previous years while people wait for Boras to emerge from hibernation.

I like Wander, but he's really raw. It's a lot harder to hide an infielder than a pitcher.

I think it's more likely they'd carefully watch all the position players who can see / get passed the sign. There's a lot of people who could potentially tip a pitch, and it should be observable from the batters box.

It's incredible how bad he is at layups. He needs to start just trying to dunk everything near the rim or something, because the layups aren't working.
