This is an important point. If they prevent infection or don't allow the virus to build up enough load for the person to be infectious, then allowing the players to play if they've been vaccinated makes sense even if it's in front of no fans. If the players are still infectious with no symptoms, then it doesn't. We may not know the answer to that for some time. -
I can't see any team tanking OUT of the playoffs just for a slightly higher chance at a high draft pick. Give the 9th seed like a 5% higher chance than the 15th seed or something. It's enough to encourage teams not to tank, but not enough to prevent them from giving young kids a look, etc.

I wouldn't mind having him, but I don't think he'd sign here. He wants to live close to his home in Tampa if I remember right, so would probably only consider a few teams relatively close to that area.

I wonder what Jon Gray would cost as a trade target? Alternatively, I wonder if the Nats will look to cut some salary and potentially make Scherzer available (1 expensive year left on his contract, especially with the signing bonus that's still left).
