    now think of that from a contending point of view without a lot of starting pitching depth. Pretty much requires you to pay a large price to acquire a starter at the deadline and that isn't even taking into consideration other holes and injuries. With a lot of SP options, I'd say yes to this but if the depth isn't there, I think you just give him the role he's been successful in. Keep in mind this is a guy that has thrown 5 innings or more only four times in his 5 year professional career, and never since 2013.

    If Osuna moves to a starter...what's his max innings? Is he even a post season starter if he has limits? personally I'd just keep getting the win and half out of him as closer.

    it's been quite the game for him. I can't see anything but a tie 2-2 after tomorrow. But Chris Young will probably give up 2 solo shots and 27 flyball outs the way I've been at predicting these things

    I honestly think he was taking up the cause for Martin in this case. But there is zero need for it still. Hirschbeck is well known for allowing your say...as long as you walk away after that.

    probably still doesn't excuse the initial decision to put him in. But it does go to show how little order matters. Just throw the names into a hat, it'll piss off fans but probably your opponents more when they lose.

    He doesn't say his name throughout the interview. Even this whole "challenge" to the fans or media on Twitter. Just do your usual and blame everything on being a fiery Latino, drink a Booster Juice and move on.

    KC is now 86-52 with Alcides leading off this season. 14-17 when he's not. You can't argue with results.
