  1. this year...no I'm not that confident.
  2. ftfy. fWAR by age 30 wager? Appel vs. Webster?
  3. I believe in Brent Strom. I'm going to take the over and even call for double digit fWAR

  5. The legacy of AA...Perry Minnisian! http://jaysjournal.com/2015/11/22/toronto-blue-jays-scouting-department-alex-anthopoulos-legacy-mlb-news/ Time to cut that 21 person major league scouting team (which in 2012 they actually stated they moved much of the amateur resources to as well) down to about 3.
  6. They can't seem to get passed his real value though. It's been rumoured that Baltimore offered Gausmann and the Pirates asked for them to keep adding. Get past where he grew up and make a move that helps your team.
  7. funny that they are said to have interest in Daniel Murphy, but don't seem to want to give a chance to Right Handed Asian Daniel Murphy from 6 years ago. Just play Ref in an occasional 2B, some LF, and a little DH. Get him 300 or so PA's. I really think they make the Gardner for Starlin trade and really f*** up that lineup.
  8. sorry to all. Another one of those weekends for me. I am considering all 10 offers and starts of discussions that came in...well except for North who came in so low on his offer that I had to make sure he got his rejection
  9. Barring more trades My likely 11 drops (if any of these interest you, let me know and I'll make a deal for an upgrade somewhere)\ A Catcher (Wellie or Meso) A Shortstop (Iglesias or Segura) Ben Paulsen Michael Bourn Micah Johnson Michael Saunders Kevin Quackenbush Jared Hughes Even Scribner 2 of Niese, Bradley, Miley, Nicolino, Eovaldi
  10. Can we not somehow build a wall around our page to keep the Mexicans out?
  11. nah. my outfield is full. I'll just pick up Koji with my 5 first round picks.
  12. MiLB pick 41 for Storen. BTS to confirm. Probably should have looked at my roster first but I'm a big Storen fan.
  13. Keep in mind that this is the last year where that contract is valid though. He can choose arbitration instead of the contract starting in 2017.
  14. Pretty much the same player as Calhoun or Bruce and people still jizz over them but I'll say no. I don't think Gattis moving forward appeals that much to those picking in the top 5.
  15. I'm going to let the hungover one wake up and reply before I send you an offer. In the mean time I'm at work, can you please link me to the prospects spreadsheet...thanks!
  16. Danny Valencia is the clubhouse cancerous hill he's going to be buried under.
  17. Cards got on 17 ballots only. Despite having 100 wins and two players top 10 in fWAR
  18. And left Machado off
  19. Would have loved to hear him go further into his opinions of mental conditioning as I'm sure he would have went off on that too
  20. Andy Van Slyke is the biggest ******* I've ever heard. First off, publicly stating something your son told you (that Kershaw told the Dodgers they have to trade Puig), secondly calling Cano the sole reason that everyone got fired and the worst middle of the order player in baseball. Lastly stating that hitting coaches mean very little (I believe that, but it's still insulting people that work in the same sport as you). Funny when he called Colby stupid.
  21. I totally agree (and even said "all home games"). I know his son is a 1999 (so 16 this year) but I don't know the ages of the other 2. I was more thinking after they are gone from the home. I can't see him only doing Sunday nighters from the point the NCAA's end, once his kids are out of the house. He just seems too ambitious for that.
  22. His first 5 year contract in 2007 was said (rumoured...interesting that it's so hard to get information on salaries of broadcasters) to top out at $1.5M a year. He refuses to use an agent for negotiations so I wonder if his extension in 2012 was even an increase (he stopped doing NBA basketball games and drop from 125-150 events a year to approximately 75).
  23. He has never moved though, and kept coaching his son's baseball team. He might just be settling back in to Toronto life. In the summer's he only does Sunday Night games for ESPN and some Radio stuff which he does from home most times. I could Rogers eventually getting him for all home games that don't interfere with his Sunday nighter.
  24. Let the English boys finish their conversation then the Mexicans can speak
