    Could be the 10 of his 18 seasons winning 88 or more games, including 100 twice...and 1484-1286 for his career and 931-850 for the past 10 years isn't basically .500. I don't understand what's happened in the past couple years. Maybe having all the people poached from his front office has revealed a personal weakness and it was the full system that was the success and not the man himself. Doubt that though

    I will send my list in on Wednesday. I think the deadline should be a few days before the Baseball America Jays list comes out on December 18th.

    I'd call it the worst signing of the year...but everything the Royals touch turns to gold. Instead I'll just assume that he returns to his 2 win Royal years.

    If the Yankees could get CC back on the sauce would they be able to get him off the payroll and get under the luxury tax?

    Because they rolled the dice at the deadline. You can't keep throwing money at a team to fill holes. If all free agents were accepting one year contracts, then fans would have loads of reasons for ripping on the team for not being active.
