  1. It all depends on the win total for me. I wouldn't get too excited about the Jays making the postseason if they won less than 88 games.
  2. The Royals will win. Ned Yost is unstoppable right now.
  3. All-star closer Glen Perkins is available too.
  4. Yeah this can be an early alternative. I'll probably release my comprehensive contest in the grace period after the World Series.
  5. No I own and like Wilson although I don't expect much from him. We needed the power boost and Iwakuma is fantastic in an OBPA & K/BB league, very happy about that trade.
  6. I sent you a Proboards PM! If I had a co-manager they would send out hypotheticals, build trade structures and occasionally set the lineup. I'd be uncomfortable with them actually making key decisions.
  7. "Everyone was excited when AA made all those moves so nobody can complain!"
  8. we need te trade batista he is teh canacer and cant win with him
  9. I need to trade some pitching. Feel free to PM me about any starter.

  11. This isn't the value-accumulation olympics though, it's baseball, and AA's baseball teams have yet to be successful.
  12. Did he sound like someone who will go after James Shields?
  13. It hasn't sunk in yet for me, I keep sub-consciously checking the fantasy app on my phone to check the score and my lineup I didn't set myself up for a letdown by getting too excited in the first two rounds since I knew it could all be over with a bit of bad luck, and at times later in the weeks I expected to be. It took a strong Sunday to take each of the three rounds. I went into yesterday losing OBPA, faced Jordan Zimmermann, and still took it due to a .230 mark in 23.2 innings -- that's the kind of magic I enjoyed in each of the past three Sundays. Matt Kemp has homered on each of the past four. I was lucky that you and BTS didn't hit at all, although the final stats have me winning the pitching too 4-3. It was also neat to end your 15-matchup winning streak and prolong my own unbeaten streak to 12 matchups. Yesterday was the first time I really got fired up... and it should last a while lol. The pressure that comes with not having a title is off now and now I have an opportunity next season to become the titles leader. All those many-team trades that were so ridiculed last offseason were worth it!
  14. I don't think anyone understands the joke.
  15. Janssen may not even get 1/6 or 2/10. He's just not very good any more folks.
  16. Closers just aren't that important and are very easily replaced. And Janssen is not rarely injured, he gets hurt pretty much every year. "logging 50 innings a year" isn't an accomplishment.
  17. It was fun to have the top two pitchers in baseball by innings pitched, Price and Cueto. They took the ball every fifth day and went deep with sparkling ratios. 32 innings combined in the championship round. It'll be hard to replicate that in 2015.
  18. The Dodgers will win the World Series.
  19. Yeah I guess the third place matchup has some meaning.
  20. You're either first or you're last. NJH had the right philosophy.
  21. Thanks guys!! It was especially cool to see my flag-plant players (Price, Kemp, Rizzo) come up big on the deciding day of the season. David Price was a glorified #3 starter who couldn't strike anyone out, Matt Kemp was finished and a huge injury risk, Anthony Rizzo was just a bunch of 0-fer-4s. They're none of that and now they're DDL champs. So gratifying. Congrats on the great season, FTD. Your pitching gave me all I could handle and your offense just had a bad week.
  22. You were fortunate the Nats didn't rest Zimmermann. Wow! Every one of those outs were crucial in getting the ERA and OBPA edge.
  23. Kemp homers for the third straight Sunday. His fantasy WPA is off the charts lol
  24. Yeah I was pissed when it was said that the Indians would skip House for Salazar in an effort to make the playoffs. His start tomorrow is potentially useful.
