You're correct there's a rule on that - would have to look it up

what is the rule on that?  could they have challenged and they didn't ?  Or you can't challenge in that situation?

Two seconds to challenge.

But how do you do that when you throw to second then have to join the rundown?  Like just tap your hat after the throw?

Ernie continues his useless 2nd half.  Would have taken a bunt from him there considering how bad hes been.

I'm fairly certain the ABS challenge can be made immediately after that play, for sure on a throw down to 2nd during a steal

Pathetic offense continues to be pathetic.  Team needs to upgrade Ernie next year to make him a super sub.

I pretty sure the window to challenge is extended until that play is over, Kirk could then turn to the ump and challenge - has to be done immediately.

Oh wow.  2 guys on the Clement, Giminez, Straw.  Why is McAdoo not playing?  I guess he isn't that great.

The entire thing with Davis Schneider just blows.  I guess he really can't hit this year.  .207 this year at Buffalo.\

2nd inning man

Why challenge?

At least it's a leverage situation. Not like most of the time when they challenge in the stupidest situations.

Ump f***ing us.

Or the player can learn to challenge the calls properly.

So basically Kirk didn't challenge then made an extra throw on the run down because he was too slow...

Not that Okamota wasn't to blame for all that.  Sigh

Has to made during play not after.

After what though? The whole play resolves? So could he have challenged after the run scored and negated the whole play? He was busy throwing and then covering home so that's a small window in between those 2 to do it, while extremely distracted.

during live ball?  I doubt that very much

Pitcher could have challenged not just catcher if he thought a strike.

Ceaese should have. Oh well.
