Bieber was already injured and without his player option, they won't have bring him back. Francis and Bloss? Many fans forgot their existence, and those who didn't, know they arent good enough to be part of the team who almost win the WS. Berrios everyone wanted him out before the beginning of the season. Taillon is one of the garbage pitcher Atkins bring, so he won't have helped the team much, except give less inning to Straw. Pounce was a bet, so no one know what he can do in the MLB. The real annoyance was Yesevage injuries, because he was top 3 in the SP rotation, and we have great expectations about him.

It's a lottery but we all know the Jays aren't getting any lottery balls going their way. 

Pick will be between 18th and 22.  I guarantee it.   Every loss gives us more of a chance at closer to 18 then 22.

With the 18th pick it will be a great chance to rebuild quick.

Jay Joe highly ranked high school talent will hit .195 6 with .290 slugging first year, but fans will he's only 18 and 11 months.  Jay Joe highly school talent, 18th overall pick will hit .205 with a .330 slugging second year. 

By his fourth or fifth year Jay Joe will hit .290  in Vancouver for two months and people will say he is finally here, until he gets to New Hampshire and hits .190 again. 

I guess I am describing Tucker Toman.   For all this tanking we are just going to get another Tucker Toman while the Royals will probably finish ahead of us but win the lottery and get the next Ken Griffey Jr. to go beside Bobby Witt JR.

Haha JaysBlue... u cannot be surprised we suck at this stage man.  Disappointing as hell and even more disappointing how ok from top down everyone is. 

Franchises for more successful than us have been firing people for their underperformance even for half a season and yet we treat Shatkins like theyve won dynasties for us. 

Sucks we got embarrassed but happy at least the people who deserve criticism for their part in the failure are hearing it finally.

Yeah i stopped going downtown for games this year back in like June. Could sense the vibe and just didn’t feel like wasting the time.

Its much easier to swallow those types of games when you’re working downtown and hit up the dome after work

Geez, did I ever go on a rant last night 😂 Sorry again for all the rage.

Drinking my morning coffee now and feeling much more relaxed.

Even though the game was a complete blowout, there were still some positives from the experience yesterday. The Rec Room bar before the game was actually pretty cool. First time I’d been there. Beers are a little pricey, but considering it’s right next to the Rogers Centre, it’s a great spot to crush a quick beer before first pitch and still be inside the ballpark within five minutes.

I was sitting in Section 146 and actually really liked the outfield seats. The view was much better than I expected and I definitely wouldn’t mind sitting there again. Perfect weather last night as well. Got to enjoy those few remaining summer nights we have. 

I also got a ton of compliments on my Bobby Witt Jr. City Connect jersey. One of the staff members even came up to me and mentioned that the “Hey Hey Hey” stitched inside the collar is a reference to the Beatles’ 1964 performance at Municipal Stadium. Pretty cool little detail.

And at least it was nice seeing Springer hit a dinger especially since I own him in BORED and I’m playing Spanky this week 😂

Yeah, even getting downtown yesterday was an adventure with the TTC closure and shuttle buses. Ended up walking a bit, although thankfully the delay was resolved quicker than usual.

The vibe at the games definitely feels different now too. I sensed it yesterday. It feels a lot more bougie compared to before. A lot of people seem to be there more to socialize over a couple of drinks, make TikTok videos and spend half their paycheque on overpriced beer and food than actually watch the game.

It’s also just tough to get excited about this team compared to previous seasons. Even when you look up at the lineup on the scoreboard, you’re already thinking it’s going to be a struggle just to score three or four runs.

Most likely my last game of the season. Between the ticket prices, the cost of everything inside the stadium and the aggravation of getting downtown, the overall experience just isn’t worth it to me right now. I prefer watching the games on TV in the comfort of my own home or at a local bar.

To be honest - I think that's what they wanted.  The renovations were meant to bring in more and more casuals who are just choosing to spend their night at the Jays game instead of a restaurant or bar.  I'd guess that 95% of the people attending baseball games would fall under the "casual" label.  

The number - and the environment the Jays created is similar around baseball IMO.  You see these bar type casual viewing areas in almost every stadium now.

The trade off is at least it helps drive profits, which allows the team to invest in players, which, as a fan, I prefer.  But listening to people around you talk during a game is like going onto a facebook or reddit Jays forum.  It's just a bunch of ignorant people who know very little about the game.  That's what makes this place so nice.

Yeah, very true. From a business perspective, Shapiro has been extremely successful in turning Blue Jays games into one of the hottest tickets in the city during the summer. If that increased revenue allows the organization to keep reinvesting in the on-field product, then it’s hard to complain too much.

Most newer ballparks and renovated ones have definitely moved in this direction as well, catering more to casual fans with patio bars, lounges and social areas rather than focusing strictly on the traditional baseball experience.
