Smokinitup420 Verified Member Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago It’s funny in an interview JS says all hands on deck, no bullpen limitations, yet we get Lee in a 1 run late inning game Jays24 1

Smokinitup420 Verified Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I know a lot say don mattingly did nothing but atleast he was respected by them, being an mlb legend and they listened. JS ain’t got any respect from the team, he’s just a buddy
bronson44 Verified Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Wasn't it down to Lee and Spencer Miles for the last roster spot coming out of Spring training? Imagine punting Miles for this geek. Smokinitup420 1
ComeTogether Verified Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago 1 run game in the 8th and you don't go with your regular late game leverage guys. Just like last game in the 9th. Sweep is hard but it was on the table until the 8th. Smokinitup420 1
gruber9292 Verified Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago JS wanted to save Rogers for the Yankees series and punted a one run game with two more innings of offence left.
Masterbather Old-Timey Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Well at least we got rid of Hoffman eh? Thank goodness we don't have him as an option anymore😒
Smokinitup420 Verified Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Surprised Vladdy let clement get that one
glory Old-Timey Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Yeah Sewald can't be worse than some of the options in the pen right now. Bring him on.
SeranthonySantander Verified Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Well maybe Texas can lose again and we are still at just 2 games back
decosabute Verified Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Of course in hindsight it looks bad throwing Lee in there. But I gotta admit I was OK with it when the call was made. Our offense has been pretty pathetic today - one of the most anaemic hitting performances in a season full of them. I really didnt see us tieing it up and Rogers and Varland are getting destroyed in terms of workload. Sure, it backfired, but I can understand Schneider's thinking at least. SeranthonySantander Verified Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Oh nice Brett Bateman and the jays starter TDB vs Schlittler and the yanks Jays24 1

I recall he received something like 3 or 4 injections in his thumb recently which is crazy and sooner or later I expect he's going to suffer a catastrophic career ending injury. It really is just a matter of when, not if.
Landry_25 Verified Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Well this game is making the decision on who to send down for sewold more difficult

Masterbather Old-Timey Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Had a good thing with Hoffman, Rogers and Varland, but apparently not good enough for a lot of people here. Wouldn't have mattered today anyway, this game was lost by Valenzuela and the umpire in the first inning. Not only did that lone run stand for so long, they probably took another inning of work away from Scherzer and forced us into this disgusting situation. Now for the Yankees and Rays to finish us off.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago 2 hits no runs We were never going to win this ugly one
