Looking at the 40 man roster, there's nothing terribly exciting on it, but would much rather see guys like Keys and McAdoo (and Clase when healthy) getting PA's than the vetrins that Atkins didn't want to get rid of in a lost season for some reason. I guess they'll wait until they are a sizable distance behind the 3rd WC before outright punting the rest of the way (optics, baby), but these lineups are ass with no upside at all. Pretty depressing if there isn't a significant position player turnover next season. Half the lineup probably needs to be upgraded on, at a minimum.

Let's hope the organization uses the rest of the season to give prospects a chance and see where they stand.  I dont mind the extra losses if it means longer term progress.

Yeah that's kinda why I was hoping Springer would get traded. Opening up the dh spot would help a lot with that.

You know, we really should expect so much more from Gimenez.  He has kind of gotten off easy because we're focused on the Vladdy collapse.
