Every time I turn around, the Marlins are a different team. It feels like they go on these huge winning and losing streaks. Unfortunately for the Jays, it's a winning streak right now.

Must be something they feel is going to clear up on the shorter side of time frames or it makes no sense to not put him on the 10 day retroactive to the 25th. Playing a man down 1-3 games isn't a massive deal but beyond that is kinda dumb.

My fake foresight says he probably sits out the Miami series and is back against Baltimore.

He probably can't fully extend the elbow yet from the swelling

After Pinango's adventures in garbage fielding yesterday I would probably give him a day off and put Lukes out there.

If there's a piece of SSS splits to give a glimmer of hope, Alcantara is giving up nearly an .800 OPS (.787) to LHH this season.

I'd bet Lukes could handle first base in a pinch if given some reps during infield drills. Then I'd go..

I'd guess a combination of managing his playing time immediately after coming off of the injured list and being cautious after he was plunked in the helmet with a pitch in last night's game

It could be worse as there's no Heineman and Schneider has been demoted to AAA. Really the only guy I hate seeing in the lineup is Sosa.
