jmomcc Verified Member Posted May 14 Posted May 14 I'd say today's game has been more bad luck than anything. But Varsho seems to be becoming a pumpkin in his contract year which is tough for him.

At some point though, gotta start playing better and having better at bats and stop blaming bad luck Team’s approach seems to fall apart with guys in scoring position for whatever reason

Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 14 Posted May 14 At least we got a run and didn't have to face the indignity of Nobletiger.

Will be better move on and get a new CF, who can hit and have decent defensive skills and speed. Someone like Byron Buxton will be perfect, even if can cost a Barger or Lukes + few top 10 prospects, other than Parker and King.

But still makes sense to judge each event or game fairly. They still have to own their record obviously. Spanky__99 1

My offseason 'trade varsho before he hits free agency as his game won't age well' idea is looking better now!

Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Did Vladdy need to come off the bag on that Gimenez throw?
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 14 Posted May 14 That's the season in a nutshell. Foul ball off the noggin.

May take a few weeks to find their rhythm

Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 14 Posted May 14 This is a wild pitching change to take out your 2nd best reliever by far just for 1 batter. He better get him out or else...

Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Yeah the Jays are not playing well and the Rays are currently the hottest team in the AL. But the Jays legit had a chance to win every game this series.
