jaysthebest Verified Member Posted yesterday at 07:30 PM Posted yesterday at 07:30 PM Okamoto = auto out
jaysthebest Verified Member Posted yesterday at 07:30 PM Posted yesterday at 07:30 PM He will be hitting the Mendoza Line
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted yesterday at 07:36 PM Posted yesterday at 07:36 PM Lauer hitting 88 mph on his fastball today... Stangstag 1
neverbeenhere Verified Member Posted yesterday at 07:37 PM Posted yesterday at 07:37 PM Jesus makes you nervous every time when he catches a flyball
Laika Community Moderator Posted yesterday at 07:41 PM Posted yesterday at 07:41 PM LMAO Gameday is calling every single Lauer fastball a changeup Terminator 1
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted yesterday at 07:42 PM Posted yesterday at 07:42 PM Hit and run with your 2nd guy at the plate?
mphenhef Verified Member Posted yesterday at 07:50 PM Posted yesterday at 07:50 PM I don't recall ever seeing this many bunts go for hits or errors against a team in such a short period of time. Jays24 1
mphenhef Verified Member Posted yesterday at 07:52 PM Posted yesterday at 07:52 PM It must be a school at the park day as it sounds like a roller coaster there. It would be nice if Sportsnet would filter out the highest frequency of that for the benefit of my ears.

Just poor defensive execution for the most part but I agree. Just cost us another run
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted yesterday at 08:01 PM Posted yesterday at 08:01 PM I am just tuning in now, does Lauer have another excuse on why he is pitching poorly today?
jaysthebest Verified Member Posted yesterday at 08:01 PM Posted yesterday at 08:01 PM Good d by Oka there
JaysFan99 Verified Member Posted yesterday at 08:01 PM Posted yesterday at 08:01 PM Lucky to get out of that with only 1 run
neverbeenhere Verified Member Posted yesterday at 08:02 PM Posted yesterday at 08:02 PM only 1 run, that was the best result
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted yesterday at 08:02 PM Posted yesterday at 08:02 PM Just now, Slade said: I am just tuning in now, does Lauer have another excuse on why he is pitching poorly today? He should have been out of this inning with 0 runs if the team could field bunts. Hes been excellent otherwise. Slade, Terminator and Spanky__99 1 2
Laika Community Moderator Posted yesterday at 08:07 PM Posted yesterday at 08:07 PM He has not been excellent lol He was terrified of the Angels that inning, is throwing 88, and has more walks than strikeouts Spanky__99 and Terminator 2
jaysthebest Verified Member Posted yesterday at 08:11 PM Posted yesterday at 08:11 PM Okamoto has now reached .198 AVG.
JaysFan99 Verified Member Posted yesterday at 08:11 PM Posted yesterday at 08:11 PM I really thought Oka would at least take a strike that at bat. We're trying to get this guy out of the game. No reason to swing 2-0.

Smokinitup420 Verified Member Posted yesterday at 08:15 PM Posted yesterday at 08:15 PM Lauer is a good 2 inning guy outta the bullpen, think he’s a whiney little bish though
neverbeenhere Verified Member Posted yesterday at 08:15 PM Posted yesterday at 08:15 PM I thought Lauer was not gonna pitch this inning
mphenhef Verified Member Posted yesterday at 08:15 PM Posted yesterday at 08:15 PM 1 minute ago, mphenhef said: He pre-emptively put some KT Tape on his neck so he could complain about it. Carrying the team on his back must have hurt his neck
jaysthebest Verified Member Posted yesterday at 08:16 PM Posted yesterday at 08:16 PM Lauer will not complain about the opener at least.

Hes been excellent otherwise. He looks horrible. His back is all taped up for some reason and he's sitting 88. His fastball is so crap that Statcast thinks it's a changeup. He's got 2 swings and misses the entire day. Thankfully he's getting by because it's the Angels but the dam might break at any moment.
mphenhef Verified Member Posted yesterday at 08:17 PM Posted yesterday at 08:17 PM I didn't realize it but I miss Buck. He'd be tearing Tyler a new one for the effort to block that "wild pitch".
