Does anyone in here expect this AAA lineup to start hitting like a contending team? Our batting is horrible and I don't expect Springer to have another career high batting season.

I don't blame Little. He did better than I expected. I do wish he would have buried a curve to Freeman though.

You do realize that it was game six of the season right? Hitters in general need a few weeks to get their timing down.

This game is definitely on the offence but I'm just baffled at Schneider using Nance in a one run game in the eighth.

There's nothing to do with the number of games we played. I think our lineup, as currently constructed, has a lot of AAA batters. 

Springer is getting older and there's little chance he can repeat his 2024 season.

I think I prefer the schedule easing up late in the year rather than right out of the gate. A 4-2 start feels disappointing now.

And we are lucky to be 4-2 with 2 of them being walk-offs. We haven't even faced good pitching yet. Hopefully getting out on the road will help.

Getting out on the road is key, they got too comfortable.

After sweeping the A's they got confident and just didn't show up for the Rockeis.  Some were so lackadaisical they simply fell down and hurt themselves! 😅

Too bad we can’t develop any pitching. Then when we do have the rare top pitching prospects they can’t stay healthy.
