A lot of the second generation players listen to their fathers, max out the money don't be loyal to organizations.

Yeah I feel that contract extension  was mostly pressure on management to get it done. He's probably not going to ever live up to it.

Would be interesting to see what he actually got offered in the FA market, probably not half a billion dollars.

The thing is, this management group has never given me any indication that they care what the fans think.  I think ownership just forced their hand to make sure Vladdy got signed.
