Max’s off speed stuff is awful and they are sitting on it. He’s got 96 with life on his fastball at times and he needs to start using that way more even if it exhausts him. They are teeing off on the changeup and curveball, and trying to pace himself with 93mph fastballs isn’t keeping them honest

To think that an organization or management group clinging to a one game margin would concede anything in the last week of the season is absurd.  Yeah, moving Bieber is strategy but to say that the Jays are "realistically conceding" anything makes me think someone has an inferiority complex.

You have to be realistic about what's in front of you, they don't have a realistic option against Crochet for the game tonight so you try to win the next four, you're thinking emotionally and not rationally.

What gives you the best chance to win the division? Throwing everything into this game would not give you the best chance.

If they threw everything into this game they would have already brought in their bullpen.
