He did try? Couldn’t get to the ball in time before it rolled foul, then left it hoping it would clip the bag.

Yeah not much JS can do besides play DS more, which he doesn't seem to want to do. Either for Gimenez or Loperfido. Otherwise this is on the bats. The loss of Bo is definitely felt on the lineup.
