Scherzer's secondary pitches have been pretty bad for the last couple of starts. As great as the velo has been on the fastball he's struggling putting guys away.

Meh that's in 48 PA and the BB/K rates plus ISO and BABIP make it look like he's been worse than that. His career splits vs LHP still suck.

Surprised they wouldn't just put in Varsho who is probably similar and you get the big upgrade in D.
