The bullpen has sucked but the Offense has been MIA. Key stretch here now the boys need to find a way or the division lead won’t last much longer

Would be a disappointment if they ended their homestand 2-4.

While the bullpen has been the talk of the town we can't overlook the fact that the Jays have only put up three runs these past two games. Need to get the bats going. 

Wouldn't mind the Jays going with Bo in the two spot and Barger cleanup. Need to get Bo those ab's.  Vladdy has been invisible for the last seven games.

That means three RHH in a row at the top of the order. JS won't have it as he needs to stagger handedness, he even had Giminez at the top earlier this year for the same reason. Doesn't he understand that Bo is a hitting machine and the point is pretty much mute when it comes to him? 

You could even go with Bo leading off and Springer batting second.

Yeah I'm not a huge fan of having Barger hit second.

You need to go with Springer and or Bo in the top two spots. Want them to get the most ABs in a game. Would follow with Vladdy and then Barger hitting 4th.

Depth in case of injury, free acquisition cost, and veteran presence would probably be the main reasons.

After reviewing the swings by Chourio and Yellich from yesterday off Hoffman they were just really good swings with some bad luck by Hoffman. The pitches were more than adequate. Sounds homerish I know but that is what I have concluded.

What was all that garbage towards the Jays dugout by Contreras  between 3rd and home?  Why does it seem like every team we play are a bunch of goofs that deserve chin music?  Time to take offense methinks (pun intended).  I'd like to see Scherzer make Contreras feel some pain next time up.

Varsho not in the line up = good
 

Idiot Atkins could have traded Varsho for solid bullpen guys and maybe a closer as I suggested before the trade deadline.  But I got flamed around here by JUAN and his know it all baseball minds compadres LOL.
 

Jays were not exactly world beaters with Varsho in the fold after he came back on August 1st.

 

At the end of the day, His Power evens out with his high strike out rate.

 

Varsho Jekyl and Hyde.  
 

I don’t mind him taking longer with his injury recovery.
