Atkins the clown bought a piece of garbage Varland from Minny and he thought he fleeced the Twins because he got Ty France as well.

 

Any competent baseball mind would be WAY more successful with a budget Rogers gave him and Shapiro this past decade

If we don't win the division, atkins needs to be gone. How long can you just spend ungodly amounts of money on bad pitching and never develop any?

Trying to go cheap at the trade deadline and pick up Varland instead of a real leverage guy. Bednar and Doval were had for next to nothing. Why wasn’t Ross using the Varland capital for Bednar? A proven allstar closer. 
 

this game against a similar team is over. We had a chance to show our worth and schneider flinches first and pulls beiber for yellich?

I highly doubt it was Schneider who made the call to demote both Fluharty and Fischer.

It is weird how pretty much every bullpen pitcher has regressed super hard this year. Makes you wonder if we're doing something wrong organizationally

Buddy, smart people online will tell you it is extremely valuable to get 5 years of control of the most volataile player type in baseball.

That clown Cashman when he isn't actually developing pitching (i didn't know teams were allowed to do that) was too dumb to get that sweet sweet control and just grabbed multiple relievers instead. What a dummy. He's not smart like Ross.

Yep was a massive mistake to not do more at the deadline. We gotta live and die with our guys now.

Well, Fluharty was getting it done because the league wasn't used to him yet. They figured him out a bit.

Little was getting it done because they were swinging at horrible pitches in the dirt. Those that didn't have blinders on knew this wouldn't last.

Hoffman has been giving up home runs all year.

Varland didn't have enough of a track record yet.

Dominguez is the right-handed Little.

Yariel was never as good as his ERA indicated and his velocity has fallen off. 

So yeah, there you go.

the question that i've always had is are they doing anything organizationally on the pitching side?  at least Popkins might have some influence at the lower levels on the hitting side but that's not even clear.  Need consistent messaging/philosophy at all levels
