One good thing about Giminez coming back this week is Bo could use a couple more a few extra days at DH. Not sure if its a wear and tear/fatigue issue but he's looked horrible at SS lately. Bad range/slow reactions and his arm looks like a noodle.

Yeah his body is like a bag of milk. Id be super careful in contract negotiations this offseason.

Let’s hope ed rogers is not heavily involved again. Vlad brought him to the cleaners

Ya there is no reason to have him continue at SS when hes slow as hell and doesnt have the arm to make up for it.  Clement/Gimenez are easily better options at SS defensively.

I was saying this prior to the season but it was hard to change his position during his contract year.  He needs to move to 2B asap.

Yeah and other executives around the league aren't stupid. If you play SS badly it really is only going to hurt you come FA. Teams are all about projecting and Bo's body doesn't really inspire confidence let alone the declining speed. His dad has a pretty bulky body type too so his genetics might just be catching up to him.

I still would be open to signing him but the position is a pretty big question mark. I'm not sure he would be much better at 2nd base given his range is already below average.

range at 2b is just as important as range at SS, it's just the arm that isn't as big a deal

Surprised that ball stayed in the yard I thought that was gone for sure off the bat.

He didn’t hit it in the sweet spot of the bat, only 96 mph EV.

Yeah you’re right, the big swing fooled me. That ball probably should have been an out if anything.

Ohtani is just incredible. After getting jammed on an inside fastball Lauer throws a slider right off the same pitch and he flicks his wrists for a homer. Special special player

The amount of rockets he sends all over the field that end up as outs, it's pretty okay he ends up with a double every once in a while on one that would typically be caught.

xba was only .220

Man, why couldn't the Dodgers think like the Blue Jays front office so Ohtani could get benched vs Lauer

The best hitter in baseball never gets benched. His OPS against Lefties is higher than Barger's is against RHP

Yeah I think RC hurts Vladdy. His best ballpark for his batted ball profile would be like Comerica as he would get a ton of doubles. Coors he would put up insane numbers even accounting for the ballpark factor.

Well it’s a good thing they got Mookie on that steal. Jays pitching getting killed by the long ball.

Would be nice if the Jays pitchers could stop giving up so many home runs.

Its getting crazy at this point. Too many hung breaking balls over the plate?

Heineman flipping his bat like that and getting mad about a clear strike is only going to hurt the Jays the rest of the game. Nothing pisses an Ump off more than that.
