Just saw highlights of Kirk playing yesterday with Buffalo.  Sucks that we had to put him on the IL, he easily could have just played with us yesterday.  They gotta change the concussion IL rules to allow a player back as soon as he's cleared.

My only real complaint with Atkins' trade deadlines has been his outright failure to acquire useful bats for the lineup. He's more often than not acquired dudes in the midst of bad seasons at the plate.

 Varsho is a number 8 or 9 hitter, great defense, but you need to hit the ball to be a true major leaguer.

Batting just over the Mendoza line is not for a pennant chasing team.

I don't recall ever suggesting the guy was perfect by any means, but some of the criticism he's faced is pretty over the top.

Your response to practically every criticism is "they know more than you" but i guess youre the judge and jury of what criticism is fair.

That response is generally saved for you specifically. You constantly call the team manager/general manager/data department a bunch of dumbasses/stupid/insert insult of choice so this leads to an easy retort about how you aren't necessarily smarter than the group of baseball professionals that actually runs the team. You tend to have a bunch of kneejerk overreactions and don't stop to take even a few seconds to ponder why certain moves are made before flying off the handle. The manager in particular has a treasure trove of data available at his fingertips, on top of information from the high performance department, a list of which relievers are available, first hand information from the players themselves how they are feeling that day/in that instant etc.

Ok by your logic, the team had tremendous amounts of data when acquiring France and its why he's played 2 straight games for a 1st place squad.

I can only guess that they looked at the solid underlying numbers for France (.340 xwOBA on the season) and thought that he was a candidate for positive regression. A huge part of why he's played in both of the first two games is due to both of Kirk and Springer being unavailable due to being on the injured list with concussions, but of course you wouldn't consider this.
