Personally, I think this price is too low for Bichette but I'm also not a Tyler Black guy. But the basis of the piece isn't way off, IMO, and it gives a perspective on how Bichette is viewed from outside the organization.

If the player is good.. sure. I don't really care either way. I don't think Black is that guy.

Black kinda looks like a more athletic version of Spencer Horwitz to me. He's potentially a nice piece moving forward but not a particularly exciting return for Bo.

Trade seems light. Black was more interesting a year ago but he doesn't project particularly well any more. Bo and Kyle Tucker were pretty comparable assets for most of their careers... not anymore of course but I think Toronto would need to be offered like 70% of what Tucker fetched to consider a trade

Yeah Black had a pretty disastrous year. Otherwise I think this would be a fine trade.

But Black underperformed with the stick and moved down the defensive spectrum.

Black is one of those guys who *should* be a capable defender but just isn't. I wouldn't play him anywhere in the infield and haven't really seen him in the outfield yet. He's fast, so he shouldn't be a disaster out there, but I'm still hesitant to think he has much value.
