BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 That was Varsho's play. It’s KKs if he calls it.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 That looked like Varsho’s ball but anything hit in the OF is KK’s ball in his mind.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2024 Author Posted May 24, 2024 It’s KKs if he calls it. I would generally agree, but Varsho was already settled under it.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 That sure didn't look like it hit him. Looked like it bounced between his feet.
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 That sure didn't look like it hit him. Looked like it bounced between his feet. hit his shoe lace
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 That looked like Varsho’s ball but anything hit in the OF is KK’s ball in his mind. Probably because he's one of the best defensive outfielders of this entire generation. If a CFer calls it then you back the hell off, simple as that.
Masterbather Verified Member Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 Starting to wonder about this Varsho guy

Varsho was under it and the ball was basically coming right into his glove before the near collision, and Varsho's a pretty decent fielder too.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 Never know what Manoah you're going to get.
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 Never know what Manoah you're going to get. he's been ok but yea not great; plus no Kirk
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 Start Biggio, get shutout by Maeda It just makes sense!!! I'm sure Davis Schneider really needed a day off

glory Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2024 Posted May 25, 2024 I like how the Jays offense was starting to turn the corner in 3 of the last 4 games, so let's bench one of the best hitters on the team in favor of the worst hitter on the team, while also starting KK, IKF, a washed Springer, and Turner who can't hit righties. aNaLyTiCs.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2024 Author Posted May 25, 2024 Manoah had some tough luck tonight. Won't show on the scorecard but some awkward plays in the field extended a few innings. Too bad.

Agreed. They wasted weeks keeping the same lineup that sucked. Now let's rest people. Just mind blowing.

Doubleplay21 Verified Member Posted May 25, 2024 Posted May 25, 2024 Pearson is so predictable Good game then terrible game
Casual Fan Verified Member Posted May 25, 2024 Posted May 25, 2024 Manoah had some tough luck tonight. Won't show on the scorecard but some awkward plays in the field extended a few innings. Too bad. Manoah was born poor, sometimes had to go to bed hungry, but he made it to the MLB, got his fame and even a Cy Young contender. However, eventuality that hungry feeling and desire for food from the childhood kicked in to make him indulge in gourmet food, especially the lobster dinner, because he can afford any type of food under the sun now/ Sadly, it eventually made him overweighted to lose all his pitching skills. The same can be applied to Kirk.

It was just a glimpse of hope, the corner was not actually turned
