Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 Ump totally took the bat from Jansen’s hands there. f***er. Definitely gonna be the #1 worst call of the game on the ump scorecard due to the situation
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 Jansen rocking over 1000 ops and hitting 7th lol… not that it mattered that AB.
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 He still sick??? could be and with the pressure to get the players in the line-up maybe he's still not 100%

harvey16 Verified Member Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 Jansen gets screwed. Has to swing at a ball because it's in the exact same spot as the other ball ump called a strike. We need electronic strike zone yesterday
BTS Community Moderator Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 WTF that Voltaren commercial. Are there a lot of fans who feel like Hazel Mae is a part of their family?

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 Schneider is playing great where ever they put him and his bat has been the only one working regularly

hanton Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 can Deluca pull a ball or what, nice read by Varsho
glory Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 Justin Turner now with a 97 wRC+ in 150 PA, and that’s with a 187 wRC+ against LHP. A well run team probably runs him in a platoon with Horowitz, but he’s playing everyday until he’s traded at the deadline most likely.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 Don't worry boys... just another 500 days of evaluation before we can determine the final results of this team.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 I’m happy. They got into some great counts and worked the other pitchers well today. That’s what matters. Yeah Ross!
Doubleplay21 Verified Member Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 Hopefully 5 more losses will make Atkins say its a long season...we still believe

The team gives way too much “respect” to vets when you compare us to other smart orgs like the Dodgers and Rays. Springer should have been bumped down ages ago, Turner needs a platoon, Jansen should be batting higher up, Romano probably shouldn’t be the closer right now, and KK really shouldn’t be playing much.

Laika Community Moderator Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 Did buddy actually use Pearson in a 4-3 game? Does John Schneider even watch baseball???
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 Did buddy actually use Pearson in a 4-3 game? Does John Schneider even watch baseball??? I’d really love to know if Pearson is higher on the organizational depth chart than Richards, or if John made that decision on his own. Anyone with eyes and half a brain can see Pearson has been dogshit since his recall from AAA, and most of his career for that matter. The clear path was Richards > Garcia > Romano for the last 3 innings. But Romano probably would have blown it in the 9th anyways.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 Hey we tried. Everyone on this team is putting in IMMENSE amounts of work behind the scenes We have gone from "This isn't the try league" to: "We worked some good counts" "We made the other pitchers work" "A lot of work is going on behind the scenes" "We were in on some guys in the off season and looked at some trades" "We made some great draft picks but they just haven't worked out"

I have no idea why they put him in that spot. It's time to wake up from all the dreaming on Pearson.

Since then he’s been the same s***** Nate.
