You need to chill man. Swanson didn't look right and was getting hit hard - what's the problem in making that observation? Obviously sucks JS didn't have other options. Not sure if Green was available to pitch on back-to-back days. Ideally would have been nice to ease Swanson back into action, but understand the circumstances.

The team has been monitoring Swanson for weeks now. Bullpens, side sessions, live BP, AAA inning, etc. and they determine he's ready to go.

Obviously he sucked today. But to armchair it and suggest he clearly wasn't ready (watching ONLY what he did today) is silly. Pearson was throwing well....don't we think if they though Swanson needed more work they would have left him in AAA?

Give it up. He looked like s*** in AAA and wasn't ready, especially to f***ing close a sweep game against a division rival who we are already being buried behind.

It's okay. Brownie believes every decision made by this front office is the right one since they're so smart and we have no right to question anything they do.

So who, other than Swanson, I'll wait?

Where did I armchair it? I just said and agreed with Stang that yeah Swanson didn't look right today and even in his rehab appearances, so ideally might have been better to ease him back into action in lower leverage situations. I also stated that Jays might have had their hands tied given the circumstances so it's understandable why they had to use Swanson.

This answer is not suffice. Francis?

Yes. or Pearson, who should still be up while the guys who had a short Spring Training get more than one inning against live batters before being put right back in their old roles and working it out up here.

Is that suffice?

Pearson was optioned, dude. And yes, they activated them, who else do you use, seriously? No need to get salty, man. You're snapping at no fault of the manager.

This man thinks the organization is right 100% of the time. We are basically the Jeter Yankees with all these World Series titles to show for it in his eyes. Like he knows his stuff but it's borderline insanity to be that much of a homer lol.

I'm saying they shouldn't have optioned him until Swanson showed some results but also yes I would have gone with Francis instead or even Mayza to start the inning, but that's probably just me. Sorry man, just peeved at this one. Hate losing to the Yankees. No more arguing. All good brother.

If Romano and Swanson aren’t available for back to backs yet should they even be up yet. Genuine question not trying to gotcha, feels like we f***ed ourselves with roster management in this game. Although long con it may be necessary to get the bullpen set up.

Ok I definitely planned on sucker punching the first guy who said one cross word to me at the bar tonight but after thinking about it (and working my 12 step anger management program) I've calmed down.

We almost had an epic home stand but the Mariners and Yankees both pulled a couple of lucky games out of their asses, mostly due to the fact that our bullpen is still rounding in to form.

Clearly we had a lot of guys unavailable tonight as Genesis Cabrera was asked to go 2 innings in the middle of a tight game.

But a 6-3 home stand was the goal and we did it to right the ship.

We've got a tough road trip coming up but definitely plenty of winnable games. Let's buckle down and get back to our winning ways.

Jeter's s*** defensively, and you're an invalid. I respect bronny's opine, not yours.

Exactly... if Romano isn't even ready for back to backs and Swanson showed he was struggling in AAA then why would you option down Pearson who was pitching the best baseball of his career. Just more idiotic moves from a franchise who continues to outsmart themselves.

Do I give a s*** about your opinion? Feel free to ignore

I said the same thing yesterday about Romano and you called me stupid and the same thing happened today. Clearly you're invalid lol.

I understand, but... we're in a GDT, guy's weren't available. TV dinner just didn't execute.

It's a fair question but it's not like Nate Pearson and Mitch White are guaranteed to have done better.

Tough spots for Romano and Swanson to make their season debuts but Yimi Garcia and Chad Green have been shouldering quite the load early in the season so we had to go with them.

Hindsight is 20/20 but we win today's game in most situations. Not like Judge hit a homer either, he got a ground ball through. s*** luck.

Yup, they had a really successful home stand where they almost swept the Yankees and could have gone 7-2. Will take that everyday of the week.

Can't be disappointed at all with the way this team performed, especially in the Yankees series. Can't win every game obviously and going to lose tough one's like today, but that's baseball.

Pitching wise, this team will be unstoppable. Let's hope Vladdy, Bo, Springer and Kirk can turn the corner. Varsho was awesome today. Let's hope he goes on a run!
