I think Wendy's still has the best tasting burger out of all the fast food chains.

Wendy's is good, but Harvey's.... *chef's kiss*

Haven't been there since like high school, not a fan of fast food at all.

Beer, yes, s*** food, nah.

Ma and Pop shops are where it's at.

Homemade is always the best. Made a great gumbo the other day.

Secret recipe.

4-6 isn't so bad as much as it hurt's you dingleberries on a gruelling 10 day opening road trip, it could be sooo much worse. Tomorrow, s*** needs to shift at home.

Without Swanson and Romano.....we'll take it.

You can take it if you want.

Also no Jano. It's early and we can't hit right now. We're better than this.

So for the Mariners home opener series we get Castillo, Kirby and Gilbert

FML

And they have to face Berrios, Bassitt and Kooch, with a worst O @ the moment in our extremely small sample s***** O.

Speaking of fast food burgers I’d agree that Wendy’s is solid. My favourite is still Fast Eddies. It’s the closest I’ve come to finding more of a California style smash burger in a fast food place in Canada.

Harvey’s for me is the worst, their burgers are bland and have a really odd oil texture that does not agree with my stomach.

That being said it’s a lot cheaper, more flavourful and really easy to make good burgers at home.

Just had a Dave's single combo. LOL. Their fries are really good now too. Damn.

But yesterday was slow smoked leg of lamb on the pellet grill at home. Yummmmm

Fast Eddie's?

I'd rather support local *dime* restaurants. Good food and smiles tend to get my love. I mostly cook at home, too.

This just feels like an extension of last year. I’m not spending a dime on tickets this Season. I will be miserable at home.

I really wanted to go to one of the games this week, then I thought maybe I’ll wait til the next week against the Yanks.

Now im thinking about if I even want to waste my time getting down there.

There’s a place downtown called Cabanos, excellent smash burger. With fried jalapeños too. Last year they had a Whit Merrifield special/custom burger too. They need a location in the rogers center.

I agree with this. It stings when we had a good shot @ .500 but if we rebound well at home its no big deal.

Mariners will throw some good arms at us but so are we and their offense stinks. Shooting for a 2-1 series win.

Then we get the Rockies as the first series on a road trip for them which should help our pitching feast. Good series to get Gausman back on track and to see what Francis has got when he's not facing a top offense in a hitter's park on the road. Let's shoot for a sweep.

Yankees come to town after that and Rodon, Stroman and Schmidt are due to face Bassitt, Kikuchi and Gausman. I like our chances to go 2-1 here as well.

Let's give them a game to work with and I'm hoping for a 6-3 home stand.

Mariners can't hit, at all!!

Why oh why do catchers go down on one knee with a runner on third? There's a lot of stupidity in baseball these days.

You sound like Buck Martinez. That old school mentality is no longer accurate.

Gausman for the April 17th game? is that correct? I'm taking the family and my son wants to see Gausman pitch. I simply want to booooo Vlad.

Results matter. The fact is we are in last place in the division. The Yankees went into Houston as we did sin Cole, and they kicked butt.

Saying if we would have come out .500 would be a success is looking at things in a vacuum. There is no guarantee the 3rd WC will come out of the East this year. I would most likely wager it will NOT.

So, just floating around at .500 when our direct competition is not playing .500 is not going to be an acceptable recipe for success.

This team, this year, needs to play way above .500 with the improved competition. I just don't see anything different from last year and NO consistency to show this team can go on a long winning streak.

Key word and key defect is inconsistency.
