I wouldn't even call it laziness although it sort of is. It's sort of like when you're playing MLB the Show online and your opponent is handing your ass to you but you're too petty to quit, so you start swinging at everything and just going through the motions to finish this one out and move on to the next.

David Schneider's swing/swing path is a thing of beauty. He consistently drives the ball in the air at the perfect launch angle, just doesn't always have the raw power or contact ability to barrel up the ball. When everyone was hitting weak grounders against Stroman, he was the only one lifting the ball.

I'm not worried about Bo and I'm not worried about Varsho yet either. Varsho is walking more than in prior seasons, K-rate is about the same but he has a really low BABIP and some luck should balance that out but he shouldn't be hitting 5th. I am worried about Guerrero and Kirk getting too much playing time.

Well thats puzzling. If KK was actually available, then pinch hitting for Varsho earlier would have made more sense.
