My comment was referring to one dumbass in particular who just started screaming f*** Bo and f*** Vlad in all caps for no apparent reason after we secured the win.

I try not to overreact but this is still a non aesthetically pleasing team to watch. At least the pitching still seems at least adequate. The fan in me would have been fine with a VGJ non tender in the offseason and a Bichette trade a year ago for a haul. Not necessarily rebuilding moves but maybe moves that could have helped the present team? Unlike a lot of folks, I am fine with buying into defence (Varsho, IKF, KK) and pitching and the Turner add for offense but the over reliance on a declining Bichette at a premium defensive position and a replacement level Guerrero is annoying. In spite of all that, they can still be a high 80 win wild card team. Just thought the org would be farther ahead after 8-9 years.

Well that was...unexpected. Glad I watched to the end.

 

All the current starters are ballsy AF. Berrios had such a good start. Kind of get the Jack Morris mentality from him, just going to go out there and rubber arm it if necessary to give the team a chance to win. Total bull dog.

 

Really love Tuner's game. His AB's are as advertised. Hope he can rub off on some of the "un-named" players that need to work the count more and have discipline.

 

6 games in and it's already a f***ing rollercoaster of a season. Could be worse, we could be 1-5 like the Astro's?

Yeah Berrios did a great job to get outs when he didn't have his best stuff, even admitting after the game he didn't feel great on the mound. Great job battling it out when he didn't have his swing and miss breaking ball.

 

Nice to get a win, hopefully the offence can get going because a lot of guys are off to tough starts so far. Bullpen looks good without 2 of their big arms at the back of the pen.

I think 2022 really skewed people’s perception of him. Idk what happened that year but he was awful.

 

Other than that he’s been a rock solid 2-3 starter and a lock for 30 starts a year.

I was impressed when he predicted that a guy with nearly 500 career games at 1B would play some 1B this season. That one really blew my socks off and I loved how he dug up the post to shove in our faces.

 

But somehow he actually topped that when he called a homer in the 7th inning but it was a strikeout instead. Another amazing prediction from Dean. Really knows his ball.

 

I just wish he would quit "pouring" so many "cold ones" when celebrating these stellar predictions of his. It's not good for his health and only one poster is allowed to go on drunken tirades and that's because he was grandfathered in from the old message board that had no rules (his name is Spanky). New posters don't get those privileges.
