Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 I'm enjoying this implosion His early struggles in Spring were said to be tipping, I think it's likely the ball, I think? He's really struggled though. Dodgers playing with fire on this dude, he's over 40 pitches, man?
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 What the heck was that effort by Muncy

Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 2 s***** pitching games thus far, almost like they've been rushed...
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 Got the early payout for the Padres! Woo hoo!
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 Damn, Yamamoto out So why'd they let him pitch 40+ pitches in the first if they weren't going to use him again, weird?
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 For $300M I was expecting to see more velo

jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 2 s***** pitching games thus far, almost like they've been rushed... Yeah for sure, especially with a week of ST games remaining. I think the MLB needs to do something in-season instead if they could make it happen. But would screw up with the pitcher's routine and you would have to give each team a couple days off before/after a series especially if it's in Asia. They probably could play a series in Europe no problem during the regular season. 6 hour time difference isn't as bad as 12 lol.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 Dodgers now paying 3.25. Wonder if they have comeback magic again like yesterday or Musgrove now settles in.

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 Would be funny if Imanaga ends up having a better year than Yamamoto
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 They ARE playing a series in London in June Yeah that definitely will be a better series. The series in Asia always have to be done in March because of the constraints of the MLB season, as well as the Asian Leagues like the KBO or NPB season games taking place April onwards. I don't think there would ever be a perfect time for regular season games in Asia. They should just make them ST games instead rather than regular season games. Fans in Asia would still pack the ballparks.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 Boogers having a great start to the season
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 That left side of the infield for the Dodgers is gonna be a problem
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 That left side of the infield for the Dodgers is gonna be a problem You think Betts will be a problem?
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 You think Betts will be a problem? Not exactly, but the combination of Betts being mediocre + Muncy at 3rd is definitely well below average for MLB. Reminds me of the year we had Bichette + Biggio manning the left side
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 Musgrove shat all over my stats today, lmao... Faaack!
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 That left side of the infield for the Dodgers is gonna be a problem My friend just texted me the same thing, even before that Muncy gaff haha. How can you spend 1B in an offseason and not have a dependable SS and 3B defensively.
