Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 LOL. Have we been watching the same team? A bloop and a blast.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 I blame Bassitt for this game. Not throwing a shutout knowing this team is only capable of one big hit a night (at best) is inexcusable.
Steeljays Verified Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Why not walk Devers there? It’s an alarming issue all year with JS not walking certain dangerous hitters. After last years collapse in the WC series I have no faith in his leadership. He isn’t very strategic. He also doesn’t know how to coach the team into baserunning success. We lead the league with outs on the base paths this year. JS should go imo. Devers HR is not issue here. The jays O is piss poor. They are simply unprepared offensively. Agree JS should go
Jays333 Verified Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 getting no hit by very mediocre old Chris Sale and Kirk being out by a mile on what would be a standup double for 90 per cent of the rest of the league is the Jays season in a nutshell
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 16, 2023 Author Posted September 16, 2023 1 hit 1 fn hit
James Key Verified Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 I sure can’t wait for the automated strike zone. KK gets jobbed and his whole at bat is altered. 2-1 to 1-2 is a big deal.
James Key Verified Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 58 outs on the base paths this year for this group. What a disaster. Point the finger at JS. No ability to teach these guys any fundamentals nor any cohesiveness. How many brutal losses compounded by bad baserunning and little to non existent strategy?
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Devers HR is not issue here. The jays O is piss poor. They are simply unprepared offensively. Agree JS should go How about the nerd that put this offense together where every single move is life or death. No manager should constantly be in high leverage situations for almost every single game man and I don't even like JS lol.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 John Schneider pulled Berrios yesterday and now is content pushing Bassitt over a 100 pitches. Berrios was cruising. Bassitt is laboring here. Make it make sense.
Pinkfloid Verified Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 More bad luck, C'mon Jays shake it off and get those bats alive
RobinThicc Verified Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Blue Jays offense can come back from this no problem
BlueJays Verified Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 John Schneider pulled Berrios yesterday and now is content pushing Bassitt over a 100 pitches. Trying to save some arms! Ironic isn’t it?
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Bassitt looks tired as s*** out there.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Bassitt looks tired as s*** out there. Very lucky to get out of it. Schneider is confused.
James Key Verified Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Big response to that throwing error. Let’s strong some good at bats together fellas.
Fighting_Yeti Verified Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Theres the run for today.
James Key Verified Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Vlad finally showing some consistent approach.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Go Vladdy, go Jays! It ain't over till it's over baby!
infinitebook Verified Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Surprised they pulled Sale, JS approved
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 A bloop and a blast. Was hoping for a bloop first but we'll take the blast.
deanmike Verified Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Someone in the dugout pretended to put the HR jacket on Vlad, absolutely pathetic celebration while still trailing the game.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Someone in the dugout pretended to put the HR jacket on Vlad, absolutely pathetic celebration while still trailing the game. Stfu Dean
BCZ Verified Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Vlad waited until the last 20 games to show up?
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Nice to see Vladdy homering in 3 straight games! Probably the boo's in the Rangers series lighted a fire under him! Hope Vladdy finishes the season strong. Would help the Jays in their fight for the WC most importantly, though at least heading into next season you can feel a little more confident in his abilities to bounce back.
James Key Verified Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Ump missing another call that goes against the jays? You don’t say. At least Espinal still managed to earn that walk.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Good patience. Keep the line moving.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Good patience. Keep the line moving. Let's hope Chappy can come through here.
BlueJays Verified Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Do something useless Chapman.
jaysguy44 Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Chapman sucks, won't miss that guy regardless of how good he is defensively I repeat
