Bichette has a 4% walk rate. He wasn't drawing a walk in that AB. Just had to hope he hit any mistake Eovaldi made around the strike zone, but didn't happen.

Yep. But he has to have a better idea of the situation. Wild pitcher plus bases loaded. Shouldn’t equal happy happy swing time on anything close. Like I said I give him a break on the first splitter as it was legit nasty and looked like a centre cut fastball until it wasn’t.

 

Just the last one ended up so far out of the zone, was another splitter and therefore had to have started off the plate, so….he’s gotta be able to lay off that one.
