Launch angle is only a part of it, when matched with the proper swing path / plane, then you get balls going over the fence.

 

Proper swing path leads to launch angle.

 

103 mph at 30 degrees is like a 430 foot 1.000 expected average 4.000 expected slugging

103 mph at 20 degrees is like a 380 foot 0.600 expected average, way less slugging.

 

And considering that Vlad also has a bad spray angle I bet the true expected average on his batted balls isn't that high.

Not really interested in watching a game where grown man tackle each other, so much downtime between possessions. And when something excited actually happens you gotta hope a ref didn't flow a flag otherwise they gotta replay the same possession further away. f***ing terrible game lol.

Have watched maybe 10 games in my life. Have been so disinterested I am not willing to learn the nuances. I made an effort and it is just so painful. Don't care about moving the ball up the field 8 yards and celebrating over that. Baseball will have 100 story lines and way better drama, better stats and record watching.

Love the NFL. Been a big fan for years. I don't have a rooting interest in a specific team however so I'm never as invested as I am for something like baseball.

Some NFL games can be boring if there is very little scoring and just field goals. Though if you watch two good teams play, should be a great game. To be honest I find the CFL more entertaining and faster paced.

It's faster paced than the NFL. Definitely give the CFL a watch during the Playoffs or the Grey Cup. It's a different game than the NFL. 3 down football vs. 4 down football and larger field. More focus on the passing game than running game. Some games can be really fun.

 

Still prefer the NFL in terms of competition and talent though.
