JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 We would have tied if we had pinch run for Kirk, but hey, just another mismanaged game.
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 not surprising at all that it wasn't done. We have one of the dumbest manager in the league and he will get softball questions in the post game presser. Hope someone asks him why he didn't pitch run for Kirk in that situation
Scion Verified Member Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 Strike 2 against Jansen is everything wrong with this offense in a nutshell. No one with a plan at the plate even offers at that.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 It wouldn't be a Blue Jays game if they didn't completely s*** the bed in the biggest moments.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 is there a single team worse with risp and in clutch situations?
Jays333 Verified Member Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 Teo has a 1.2 OPS in the last 2 weeks and Mariners are 11-1. Moreno has a lot of underlying stats that project he is going to be really good and we have f***ing Kirk
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2023 Author Posted August 30, 2023 it is insane how bad vlad is this year
Scion Verified Member Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 This season is on obesity. Vlad, kirk and manoah. Even if they make the WC, does anyone honestly believe this team is going to contend in October?
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 Did anybody hear on who was responsible for Espinal swinging 3-0 last night?

Nursehoneybadger Verified Member Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 good game good tries all around. It isn't easy to hit a 90 mph baseball that is curving all over the place, I don't blame the guys. We didn't have a good chance in the playoffs anyway.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 Did anybody hear on who was responsible for Espinal swinging 3-0 last night? JS trusts his dudes
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 Man, JS is always pulling the wrong levers it seems.
RobinThicc Verified Member Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 Vlad and Manoah giving this team jack s*** cost us.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 John Schneider just said that he didn't consider pinch running for Kirk because they were down by 2, but if they were down by one yes. What a f***ing loser.
RobinThicc Verified Member Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 Was there anything more predictable than vladdy pounding a ball into the ground there
jaysguy44 Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 This team man... Hope it's an exciting off-season

What a f***ing loser. like.... why though? LOL chances are he doesn't bat again and if he does who cares not like he's been that much better than anyone on the bench.

What a f***ing loser. Kirk would have been the 4th run, Biggio scored the 4th in the 9th but I agree with the season winding down you do everything to win games like this
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 3.5 back The playoffs are most likely a pipe dream.
5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 I was soooo mad when we kept this clown over Moreno and it seems im reminded of why at least two or three times a week I wanted to keep Kirk, but I assumed we would've gotten a haul for Moreno. Getting only Varsho for Moreno AND Gurriel should be cause for dismissal. Even the Dodgers broadcasting staff were talking about what a fleecing it was.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 JS just said that he didn't pinch run for Kirk because he wasn't the tying run and his spot might come up in the 11th and he wanted his bat there. Just like last night with Schneider? CLOWN SHOW TOP TO BOTTOM
5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 Should of unloaded the bench that inning, top of the order is batting regardless. Kirk should have been pinch ran for. Schneider never seems to press any of the right buttons when it comes to in-game tactical decisions. The wildcard game last year still leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I really think a team like this should be managed by a guy with more big-league experience.

hanton Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 So if that's Schneider's logic why did they send him?
