L54 Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 What are we, like 1-12 vs the O’s this year? I’m probably off but that’s what it feels like. Cheeks clapped. Hello Robert. They’re 3-10 I think
Captain_Obvious Verified Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 The Orioles don't get the credit they deserve. As much as I hate them, they've been the way better team this year and the head-to-head matchup shows. No more excuses. There is no question that the O's are better than the Jays. What is frustrating is the fact that we have key players playing at replacement level or worse. Manoah, Vlad, and Kirk have performed around 8 WAR worse than expected collectively. Fat f***s. All the key O's players are playing close to median expectation or better.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 On another level for years to come too. One way to improve is to remove Fatso from the lineup and call up Horwitz. Maybe we can trade Fatso to the Angels. Their GM is dumber than ours. Not a bad idea but I don’t think they have anything that would really make sense for the Jays

I see no fatties in that Oriole lineup If this year doesn’t deliver a reality check to those three nothing will Vlad might be the exception but the other two need to get it together
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 He was bad but it looks worse than it was. Our offense puts pressure on our arms almost every night. Kyle Gibson pitching through the 8th says it all. A 2 run deficit feels like 5. Jano baserunning error - down 2 runs. This team can be maddening. This team still does not have the fundamentals down. After several years. The entire coaching staff needs to go
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 Kyle Gibson pitching tonight. Jays bats will be launching off of him! Dude? lol
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 All things considered I will take that! My account is saved : ) lol... I thought the same thing, at least it wasn't a DP. Sad man. We need Vlad so bad, it's scary. He's drowning this team.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 You could see that coming, what an AB by Mullins. Tip your hat... but it was painful, no doubt.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 Back in the Anthopoulos "WWE Attitude" era if we were playing limp dick baseball like this, Bautista would slide hard into a 2B to break up a DP on the bases and then launch a throw on from RF trying to nail a runner at first. Then Donaldson would tell the opposing manager to f*** him and suck his cock. One of Bichette or Merrifield need to make a statement on the field. They're the only guys in the lineup who seem pissed about losing. Hahaha... I felt this post, keggy.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 Whelp. This is over. I’m glad football is starting soon because my last sliver of hope for this team is about gone. That's the spirit...
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 Outclassed by the Orioles all year . This team may miss the playoffs ugh

jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 Dude? lol I didn't think I had the same jinxing effect as the Sheriff. I'll walk towards the exit now.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 This team still does not have the fundamentals down. After several years. The entire coaching staff needs to go Fundamentals is the key word here. This isn't just a 2-3 month thing. It's been the entire season. Even last season as well. This team with this star talent have underachieved greatly and if they do miss the Postseason, some serious changes need to be made starting with the coaching staff and some key roster pieces. Atkins can't keep the status quo again for 2024. If the Jays miss the Postseason in 2023, that's 2 of 3 seasons with a roster that was supposed to be World Series contenders. Some serious questions need to be asked and some serious decisions need to be made.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 Who was the ump last night and where is his scorecard? I didn't get to watch much of it, but I saw the Biggio at bat and the Belt at bat in the 8th and I think that Angel Hernandez wanna be ********** got the call right about 30% of the pitches I saw. Was it that bad all night?

wilko Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 Hopefully they did some homework :(
polar bear Verified Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 Not a bad idea but I don’t think they have anything that would really make sense for the Jays They wouldn’t be offering anything decent for lard arse.

Litmyfyr Verified Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 (edited) When are the Blue Jays coaches and manager going to wake up? Last night Berrios was going well. What I saw in the fifth inning was enough to make you puke. They knew Berrios was in Trouble after he gave up back to back hits but rather than use the vaunted bull pen they decide to roast him for 4 additional hits!! Walker where are you? We needed this game badly but you decided we'd throw it away. What are you being paid for?? ŴTF??? DISGUSTED. Berrios is among your best pitchers and you decided to abandon him!!! Hard to support decisions like that!! Edited August 25, 2023 by Litmyfyr Mistakes
