Springer was a clutch hitter, not sure what's going with him this year, age, off year, sulking over being moved to RF, I dont know.

Well Ross even said our internal options were better than what was on the market, well then use them, because we need a jolt like Schneider provided.

Yeah calling up Schneider is easier since he can play multiple positions so there are realistic ways to get him into the lineup. With Horowitz he's kinda limited to 1B/DH, so there's not much flexibility. I definitely think he's starting at DH (against RHP) in 2024, though. Just find a decent platoon partner for him.

True but with KK out there are some opportunities in LF and also to pinch hit. They've also been sitting the regulars during this 17 game stretch which would have provided him some ABs too.

So in 2024 we lose Belt, Chapman, Merrifield, Hicks, Ryu. I wonder who were going to get at 3rd base, 2nd, LF, DH. Hopefully offensive upgrades but not defensive liabilities.
