Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Keep telling you guys, dont trust the High and low on the TV strike zone. It's bad. They need to look at that then. It looked both far off on the on broadcast graphic and the follow up pitch tracker.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 They need to look at that then. It looked both far off on the on broadcast graphic and the follow up pitch tracker. It's one of the things that is a big concern with using ABS at the MLB level. MLB wants the people watching to know the overlayed strike zone is the same one ABS is using. inside and outside is pretty much perfect on TV but the up and down is not.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 What kind of defense was that? Bad
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Huge out. Nice Kirk and great tag on the swim slide!
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Leave it to us to make Lance Lynn look like Jacob DeGrom
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 jays making lynn looking like an ace lol
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 jays making lynn looking like ace lol Literally dominating
Delgalladay Verified Member Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Well that was Lynn's best start of the year.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Lynn is a good pitcher. Just like prime Mark Buerhle was. Now it's just his consistency at this point in his career that holds him back, but he'll still through the occasional game like today when everything is pinpoint. He loses even one more iota of control though and he's probably done.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Berrios through 7. Got to give props. He has been sharp. Lynn carved us up. I'm honestly surprised.
M.E. Verified Member Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Come on boys. Scratch a run across. Nice long start for Berrios with a DH

John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Biggio has gone back to his passive plate strategy.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 11 Ks though?? Embarrassing Ya, at this point he is not THAT good. Well off his heyday years and his FB V such as it is down, as is his usage. More using cutter now.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Sidal really baffled the Jays suck this much lol.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Sidal really baffled the Jays suck this much lol. Maybe he knows something going on with the coaches/clubhouse but can’t say
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 FFS, these kind of pitching changes really tick me off. He's under 90 pitches in the first game of a double header. This is where you push him, not where you pull him early.

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Schneider is all foam no beer Could you imagine Schneider with Roger Clemens on the mound? Clemens would be around 120 pitches and look like he was ready to tear the manager's head off his shoulders if he even approached him.
keggy Verified Member Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Sidal really baffled the Jays suck this much lol. He's always been more outspoken compared to a typical neutral broadcaster like Schulman. Back when Montoyo was managing Sidal could barely hide his disgust.
