Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2023 Author Posted June 10, 2023 Moreno would've catched that all day. To the IL you go. Congratz!
WryNGinger Verified Member Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 Moreno would've catched that all day. The correct term is "Varsho as a back-up catcher would have 'caught' that all day". Here to help!!
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 Jays gotta double steal to have a chance to tie this game.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 If we're relying on varsho/Espy to get a clutch hit... might as well call the game now

JaysFan99 Verified Member Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 Well that loss pissed me off. Just gave a winnable game away. They had 3 at bats with a runner on 3rd & less than 2 outs and got nothing. Offense is absolutely pitiful.
philly30 Verified Member Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 3 right by Varsho. No chance. Championship teams don't have 2 huge holes in the lineup like this
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 Bo choked. Espinal has no idea what to do and the 3B coach is a pile of s***. Another L that should have been a win
tossingthiscoin Verified Member Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 It's just a terrible loss. One of the worst losses this team had in this season.

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 This team really needs to work on scoring runners from 3rd, its f***ing embarrassing at this point. Gotta change your hitting approach in those situations
tossingthiscoin Verified Member Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 Can't believe the team is this much allergic to hit with risp.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2023 Author Posted June 10, 2023 Yea. f*** Belt for lining out at 108 mph. How pitiful! And Kirk, s*** happens.

Masterbather Verified Member Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 I have a feeling these Blue Jays Central segments are about to get higher ratings. Crappy loss, it happens. Some bad luck. On to the next one.
WryNGinger Verified Member Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 Tough loss in a very winnable game. RISP failures are approaching statistically improbable status. It's almost impossible to not score more often in these circumstances.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 And Kirk, s*** happens. Kirk still has to try and lift the ball more in that situation. But yeah if Castro doesn’t make an excellent play, and Espinal knew how to run the bases, that’s a game-winner.

JaysFan99 Verified Member Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 Yea. f*** Belt for lining out at 108 mph. How pitiful! Belt struck out in his one at bat with a runner on 3rd & less than 2 outs…
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2023 Author Posted June 10, 2023 Belt struck out in his one at bat with a runner on 3rd & less than 2 outs… He also stung one right at the guy, guess he needs to aim his line drives.
tossingthiscoin Verified Member Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 Bases loaded with 1 out, runners on 2nd and 3rd with no out. They couldn't drive in any run. Kirk couldn't catch a perfect throw from Whit.
Blue Jays Lurker 2023 Verified Member Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 Stranded 12 runners The most unclutch team no doubt. Varsho I cannot emphasize once more, what a horrendous move by Atkins. Champman overthinks and overanalyze every swing Kirk is the most unathletic player Cimber has spaghetti arm, having him pitch in a high leverage situation is just a wrong move. Schneider time and time again just making the poorest decisions: 1. Pulling Kikuchi early in the game with no starting pitcher tomorrow and expecting an overworked BP. 2. why there was no contact play? 3. He has zero credentials to lead a team aiming to go deep in the playoffs. But the Bottomline, the buck stops on Atkins lap. Playoff fodder team.
Acemeister79 Verified Member Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 Can’t sportsnet just leave this alone? Baseball shouldn’t get sucked into the woke vortex. All the ‘hurt’!
JaysFan99 Verified Member Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 He also stung one right at the guy, guess he needs to aim his line drives. Not sure why you’re bringing that up when I clearly was talking about at bats with less than 2 outs. Bichette is the one that failed that inning.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
