I lost $10 on the Mets today, but I'm happy!

Should bet on whoever the A’s are playing every day. I’m going to start tomorrow.

I've been betting run line pretty much everyday whoever the A's play. Like $10-20. Though I need to start putting down more during favorable pitching and team matchups. You'll win a majority of the time.

Yeah I bet the Marlins run line against the A's three days in a row this weekend. Today was a close one, but they came through haha.

Pearson blows the 4-2 lead and Belt saves the game taking the win away Kikuchi and giving it to the pitcher that blew the lead. Lame.

Pitcher wins r dum!

Gausman is 4-3

Kikuchi is 6-2

That's all the proof you need to show how stupid W/L are for pitchers

Kikuchi is the better pitcher.

Agreed. It's definitely a stat they could get rid of. Also not a fan of pitchers getting dinged for a run because they get taken out of a game with runners on base and the reliever gives up a hit.

I think a shared responsibility for earned runs would ultimately be more fair and equitable to everyone involved. Something like the pitcher who starts the inning allowing a runner to reach first base and then the reliever taking over allows him to score adds 1/4 run to the original pitcher and 3/4 run to the reliever, runner reaching second base off of original pitcher is a 50/50 split etc.

If they really want to attribute Wins in an old school way it really shouldn't be binary.

Like if the team won and you pitched you get a fraction of a win based on the innings you pitched.

If the team lost and you gave up runs you get a fraction of a loss based on how many of the runs you surrendered.

If you are looking to appease the old school baseball fans then I don't think non-binary pitcher wins would be the most prudent course of action.

If you were at the table, the head of the table would give you a bewildered stare, then look away and say “who else has any ideas”

The show rejected him

Something about his dome messing up the lighting on set?

He claims he was “too lazy” to fill out the paperwork and actually get on the show, but yeah he probably got rejected

Yordan Alvarez and Aaron Judge would definitely scare me if I was a pitcher.

Yordan Alvarez is the kind of offensive contributor I hope Vlad eventually becomes. The raw tools are there but the consistency certainly needs work.

4 against the Astros now?

FFS

What a schedule

All night games as well which is nice. Sick of seeing a game on Wednesday or Thursday at 12:30 or 1PM haha.
