JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 Manoah has got to keep his emotions under control. Comes across as immature to me. he is immature, just a kid
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 “Shut up Fat Boy” is Schneider’s legacy. He literally hasn’t done anything else worth anything. Fumbling Game 2 is his legacy but he looked like a jackass that entire Yankees series. Now he looks like a dumbass today.
max silver Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 Jansen was the difference Was he though? Manoah made a lot better pitches to my eyes and generally displayed a lot better command.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 Manoah has got to keep his emotions under control. Comes across as immature to me. Yeah, it's not ideal, but Rodriguez was doing the same thing all game on strikeouts too. The Jays didn't say anything and escalate it. Frazier did. We don't know what he said either.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 Manoah has got to keep his emotions under control. Comes across as immature to me. Maybe a little bit but Grayson Rodriguez has been yelling like a maniac every AB
harvey16 Verified Member Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 Not a dominant start but at least heading in the right direction. Glad Jansen got him to use the fastball more. Hopefully he can build off this for his next start in Tampa!
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 Did you see the expression on Mattingly’s face? Not happy..
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 Jansen was the difference The terrible ump certainly helped
harvey16 Verified Member Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 Keirmeier has been such a huge addition, his D is just so good!
max silver Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 The terrible ump certainly helped It seemed like he became less of a factor as the game went on as Manoah started commanding better.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 20, 2023 Author Posted May 20, 2023 Last place team is 5 games above .500. "Division"

Then in the dugout has a look on his face like he's going to cry.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 The terrible ump certainly helped both teams pitchers.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 But Manoah is shouting directly at the batter. Then in the dugout has a look on his face like he's going to cry. Fair, he is pretty mouthy.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 But Manoah is shouting directly at the batter. Then in the dugout has a look on his face like he's going to cry. It looked to me like he was yelling at the ump to check the pitch. I don't think he directed anything at Frazier until after Frazier started yapping. It doesn't really matter either way though.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 Does anyone set a better target behind the dish than Rutschman? Doubt it.
max silver Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 Two Jays home runs in 1 game? Am I dreaming?
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 The decision to bat Jansen ahead of Varsho is already paying off.
Kordesi Verified Member Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 As Spanky would say … bring it home birds!
max silver Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 Not sure why they decided to burn Mayza so quickly. He's been a lot more effective so far against right handed hitters this season so it's not a death sentence if he has to face a few of them.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 Isn’t Richards kinda good against Lefties???
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 Really need to hold here. Not sure how many more hits are left in our bats today.
Kordesi Verified Member Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 Need insurance runs now. Come on birds!
max silver Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 Damn that was smoked That was scary off of the bat.
