Schneider has made some good calls this game, just basically none of them have worked out. Pearson, Springer for Varsho, now Jansen for Belt. None of them could execute.

Yeah I don’t necessarily dislike the moves, but he’s just been pushing all the wrong buttons tonight

I don't think Springer for Varsho is a good idea since Springer is sick and not having a good season.

Belt against high velocity is asking for a K

Belt has the 10th highest BA against 95+ this year believe it or not. Now, leaving Belt in against a tough lefty with his K struggles this year would've been pretty foolish.

Springer looks like Brett Lawrie right now...so was it?

Springer is cold but we are paying him 150. He has a track record and that’s a spot he has to execute in. He stunk out that at bat but I can live with the move.

Unless Springer is dying from bubonic plague, yes.

Also Trevor Richards is good. Please put some respect on his name.

Right when you start to trust Richards he walks 3 and gives up a homer.

That happened maybe twice last year. He blew up a couple times. But otherwise has been very good in his Blue Jays career. All the metrics support it as well.

Richards was filthy.

I like his role though, would keep him there.

His middle relief role is perfect for him. He can go 2 innings when you need it. He’s going to put up zeros and s*** load of whiffs majority of the time.

I don’t think I have seen Richards sit down twice. Shall be interesting.

He gave up 2+ earned runs in 11 different games last season. Half of those were 3+ ER and a couple games were 5 ER.
