His weight issues display that. Zero reason for a professional athlete to be that out of shape. He has access to professional gyms, personal chefs, nutritionists, massage therapy, really anything an athlete needs to perform and he’s still severely out of shape.

I doubt there were many teams out there looking to pay a kings ransom for him, regardless of his bat to ball and catching skills. He's probably 50+ pounds overwight at 5'8" tall. That's never going to age well.
