With nobody out and has to face 3 batters

That doesn’t answer my question though Rasmussen vs Belt seems like a better matchup than Poche vs 3 rhb. It’s not like it’s even a question they were going to pinch hit for Belt against a lefty, it was a guarantee

I don't mind Richards here. Obviously this is the pocket they think he'll be effective against.

Schneider come on man..

Even if this works out, why start the BP train now when Berrios is only at 77 pitches? Decisions like this is how you kill your BP.

He was limping lol. He could even miss his next start depending where on the knee it hit him

He's hurt.

Ok now I heard them say it's due to the come-backer. This makes sense, better to be cautious.

Sore knee from getting smacked

Need 12 more outs. I'm OK with it.

Use him in the next inning then against bottom half of the lineup, Swanson was already warm.

Berrios was taken out for health reasons

Would be smarter to to Swanson heart of the order were he was warm?

I'd rather see Swanson face the heart of the lineup in the 8th inning.

Very easy to tell the Rays are sitting on Richards changeup.

Richards basically throws 50% changeups down and 50% fastballs up.

Whiskey Pete needs to tell Richards to mix in the low fastball for better tunnelling. Those 92 mph heaters at the belt aren't sneaking past a lot of MLB hitters.

Richards wasn't really that bad. Two grounders, a K, and a soft liner. He's out of the inning already most times.
