Man it’s just not that serious. If Berrios wants to represent his country in the WBC it’s not like he’s taking time off to sit on his couch. None of us know how hard Berrios has or hasn’t trained to overcome his struggles. Sometimes guys just suck and it has nothing to do with how hard they’re trying.

 

Also are we really giving a pass to Kikuchi? He could still be brutal no matter how much he “cares” or how much time he put in over the offseason.

Because his stuff looks the same, repertoire is the same, he got blown up in his WBC start and blown up in his first start yesterday. Also didn’t hear any stories about him working hard like we just did with Kikuchi.
