THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 The guy literally can't command his pitches. His pitch mix sucks. 2SM in the LH is awful because is always fades back over the middle of the plate. It should 2SM away from LH or 4SM into LH, and the reverse for RH. It's ridiculous that they aren't doing that.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Lol wow ugly as s***. Worst start imaginable for Berrios and Bassit
NHLPRO Verified Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Get him the +()_ out of there. And take Kirk with him
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Lol wow ugly as s***. Worst start imaginable for Berrios and Bassit And Manoah
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Development? These guys are all proven Major leaguers with long track records. Yeah im not sure how you can fault the FO for the Berrios contract. He was even dynamite for us directly after the trade for the half season. As soon as the ink dried he turned into a completely different player
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 If Berrios had any honour as a man. He would just retire and forfeit the remainder of his contract.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Berrios is just garbage. Meatball after meatball. When he doesn't have command, everything runs right over the plate, no bueno. This game has been embarrassing.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Author Posted April 4, 2023 well we can only get better in future games.... hopefully
Masterbather Verified Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Thank God the front office built some starting pitching depth that we can turn to if Berrios can't figure things out this year.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 They gave Kiermaier an OF Assist for that lol.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Our pitching acquisition and development is so far behind and if you can't see that you're a homer Absolutely.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 The inability to develop pitching is this orgs weakness. At least teams like Stros, Rays seem to have good pitchers come up regularly
Masterbather Verified Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Given the back three of our rotation, Pop's arm might fall off part way through the season
bronson44 Verified Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Bowden Francis and Tiedemann give us better chances to win. This is f***ed.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Front office could have waited too. Frustrating deal Find me someone that didn't want Berrios extended, lol.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Find me someone that didn't want Berrios extended, lol. Exactly a lot of silly revisionist history. Every signing is a risk
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Chapman was ready for the season
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Why is Chapman hitting 7th, dude is on f***ing fire
bluejaysinternNo5 Verified Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Chapman the only player who came out of spring prepared.
Masterbather Verified Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 At least Chappy has been ripping pitches this year.
Pinkfloid Verified Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Melendez feeling the pain of every Jays fan so far this season
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Development? These guys are all proven Major leaguers with long track records. Especially when this is just year 2 of the PDC... we're hearing all kinds of good things on the development side.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Find me someone that didn't want Berrios extended, lol. Don’t make me pull up the receipts. I got a lot of s*** back then about it as well.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Melendez feeling the pain of every Jays fan so far this season Hahaha... I thought *I feel you bro, I'm right there*.
RobinThicc Verified Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 You cant have these slow f***s in front of these guys that can actually hit So frustrating
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
