Lol yeah, sad. Meanwhile Texas got nothing out of DeGrom and still beat the Phillies

I bet the Phillies to win on Moneyline and still got paid since they were up by 5 haha.

Angels I feel have the most pressure on them this season. If they don't make a Wildcard, such a disappointment.

I feel like the only way Ohtani stays is if they have a deep playoff run. And even then, he probably goes to a new team for 450 million or something. They really need to focus on pitching in the offseason

I don’t think there’s any chance Ohtani stays with the Angels. Hes looking Dodgers, Mets and Yankees. And the Padres will be floating around offering him the world.

Don't forget about Seattle.

I dont know if I see seattle as a team willing to pony up that kind of cash. Maybe i'm wrong and I hope I am because if Ohtani makes it to free agency, it will easily be the biggest free agency circus in sports history. That whole Lebron thing back 10 years ago or whatever would pale in comparison

THe more teams on on him, the better. The Jays could make a pitch too with lots of money coming off the books this year. No idea if Ohtani would even entertain the idea, but you never know.

Seattle is low key one of the most fun teams in the league. Would be awesome if he went there.

I wonder how it will really play out, like would Ohtani just give a list of teams to his agent that he would actually be open to play for and then just go from there and only really change if he got blown away with 50 million more dollars or something?

Like, I doubt the angels are really on his radar given how they've bumblef***ed everything over the past few years. That could change I guess if they make the playoffs this year.

There's all the low spending teams that are just eliminated completely from contention since spending 50 million on an entire team is "impossible" for their owners let alone one guy.

100%. J Rod is awesome, their rotation is nasty and they have some nasty bullpen arms.

There’s no way he re-signs in Anaheim unless they win the World Series. Bumblef***ed is the perfect word for what they’ve done.

He probably doesn’t even leave the city and plays for the Dodgers lol

Jrod, Ty France, Big dumper Cal, Suarez, K Wong, Teo.... very solid.

Wait a second, didn't some posters on here say Seattle sucked and were extremely lucky last season? Haha.

They’re still a fun team. Plus they’re getting a full season of Luis Castillo and added Teoscar. They’ll definitely be buyers at the deadline too.

I feel bad for Trout. His team can't make the playoffs with the most valuable player what are they gonna be like when he leaves. Trout has to request a trade at some point right? Having his post season career limited to 3 game would be a shame.

I believe the Dodgers are under the first threshold this season in order to reset the penalties. They are essentially planning for a massive contract to Ohtani. My guess is he goes there as the Mets even with Cohen's money may not appeal to Ohtani as much (basing that off nothing). I agree that it would be cool if he went to Seattle as well, but I don't think they would get into a bidding war with the Dodgers, much less win one.

Yeah will be interesting to see them play this season for sure. Planning to watch the Dbacks and Mariners games on MLB TV this season, both look like they'll be fun teams.

Think the Mariners can win the AL West over the Astros?
