Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 Braves signed RHP Reynaldo López, who had been with the Guardians, to a three-year, $30 million contract with a club option for 2024. Even though he’s had some consistency issues and has little experience closing, López, 29, was considered one of the top handful of relievers available. He had a 3.27 ERA and an 83/34 K/BB ratio in 66 innings with the White Sox, Angels and Guardians last season. He’s set to make $4 million next season and $11 million in 2025 and ’26. He’ll get either $8 million or a $4 million buyout in 2027. I think I prefer Chad Green over Lopez.
wilko Old-Timey Member Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 He was hot garbage last year. Good for him to land a deal though.

Laika Community Moderator Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 AA gets the benefit of the doubt in anything now. For 3 or 4 years until he’s like the Raptors guy, you are giving a guy with bitch tits the benefit of the doubt?
MikeM3 Verified Member Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 AA is guaranteeing a ton of money to RPs who appear to have another level but can't get there. We'll see if it works out
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 you are giving a guy with bitch tits the benefit of the doubt? Looks like the typical White Privilege Ivy League baseball exec to me

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 Boohoo Max - whiney little bitch he's become. Viewership was up big time last year, there's no going back. Adapt or die Max. Maybe pitchers won't be able to throw every pitch at 100% effort anymore?

glory Old-Timey Member Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 Ohtani to the Dodgers is realistic/likely, but no way Moreno allows Trout to be traded to the Dodgers. I don't think Trout will be moved, but if he is, then it has Dave Dombrowski written all over it, and the location would make sense as well.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 Thanks Morosi It's not rocket science, f***in' idjit.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 It's not rocket science, f***in' idjit. You’re just talking out of your ass. Maybe he goes out if he’s good and they win the WS. You don’t know sheet, mate. Go count the imaginary birds with the new guy

While you were incarcerated, Trout dropped from the best player in baseball to somewhere in the latter half of top 50.
