Strider wasn't even expected to pitch that deep today anyways.

 

Was cruising the first two innings and fell apart in the third. That long AB to their 9th hitter + the bad throw over to first really sunk him.

 

He hasn't started a game since Sept 18th I believe, so definitely a little rust and not 100%.

Why not? Neither are “gross teams” just notably weaker than teams like the Dodgers/Braves/Mets. But that’s the randomness of baseball
