Pitch 1 - Good take, perfect slider that barely nipped the outer corner, called strike - good no-swing decision, could have easily been called a ball.

Pitch 2 - Good swing on a meatball, just missed it.

Pitch 3 - Good take on a slider away, not really close.

Pitch 4 - Had to swing 1-2 with a 2 seamer on the outer half, pounded it into the ground.

 

Overall, good appraoch, swung at what he should, didnt swing at what he shouldnt have, just didnt have success. Fouling off that meatball on Pitch 2 was unfortunate.

That’s the thing though, he’s missing every meatball he gets. He getting at least 1 middle middle fastball almost every at bat now and he isn’t squaring up any of them
