BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 We are getting some BAPIP luck now. Loving it.
BlueJays Verified Member Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 That’s such a bad decision by Refsnyder to dive for that ball. Lolo and he's way too far as well lmao
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 A very 2022 AB for Vlad with RISP and 2 out....but no matter. Jays in flight. Now shut em down Strip.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 A very 2022 AB for Vlad with RISP and 2 out....but no matter. Jays in flight. Now shut em down Strip. Yep. Just perfection by the pitcher. All corners and bottom of the zone. Nothing in the middle of the plate
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Stripling coming back out ice cold:confused:
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 That swing should not have had that result. f***in Devers.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Wasn't Kikuchi avg 97 mph last year? Maybe avg just under 95 is part of his problem along with command
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Arroyo with some impressive takes on those 2 strike changeups, damn
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Nice play by Strip & Vlad Didn't think Stripling would make it. Perfect throw by Vlad and line by Stripling

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2022 Author Posted August 24, 2022 That was some sexy 2 out hitting there fellas in the 3rd!
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2022 Author Posted August 24, 2022 95.2 last year. 94.9 this year. Not much difference. I think he is a 97 max guy. Yeah, he sits 95-97 in any given start... 97 is his max, I believe.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 I'll probably regret this with a 3 gm series but Cordero totally sucks.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2022 Author Posted August 24, 2022 I'll probably regret this with a 3 gm series but Cordero totally sucks. He's s***, so is Dalbec.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 How can you pitch Vlad so perfect and then throw fastballs down the middle over and over to Judge...makes no sense lol
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2022 Author Posted August 24, 2022 Should've buried them that inning.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2022 Author Posted August 24, 2022 How can you pitch Vlad so perfect and then throw fastballs down the middle over and over to Judge...makes no sense lol Shut-up, meat.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Shutp-up, meat. Dinglepiss speaks
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 How can you pitch Vlad so perfect and then throw fastballs down the middle over and over to Judge...makes no sense lol Judge almost never swings at stuff that are low/away borderline (being the biggest reason of Boone getting thrown out a lot for arguing those borderline calls against Judge). By forcing the pitchers to stay around the upper 3/4 of the strikezone, mistakes happen and he launches them. If you consistently try and make contact with those low/away pitches (even if there's an odd chance it'll be a strike), then that's all you're ever gonna get.

Last 2 ABs Vlad has seen 7 strikes at the extreme top or bottom of the strike zone. Not a single thing you can do with that. Judge gets 6 middle pitches every 2 ABs. I've only seen the Jays try to pitch him to the corners. Other teams just throw it over the plate or hang it. When was the last time Vlad got a center center hanging slider...no one misses when pitching to him. Its like 1 every 100 ABs vs 1 every 2 ABs lol
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Over the next 18 games, a 12-6 record should be the floor.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Stripling settled in nicely tonight
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Stripling is making boat loads of money more and more after each start.
